Traffic Alert: Bayside / Loop 20 Area

Lakeside Residents,

We want to keep you informed of upcoming traffic activity near the Bayside area that may impact your evening or early morning commute.

Our contractor will be conducting intermittent lane closures on the east side of Loop 20 at Bayside. These temporary closures are necessary to allow crews to safely install traffic signal mast arms as part of ongoing infrastructure improvements.

Schedule

Date: April 6, 2026

Time: 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Closure Type: Intermittent (each closure will not exceed 10 minutes)

• Expect brief delays during this timeframe

• Be prepared for temporary stops

• Drive cautiously through the work zone

• Allow extra travel time if passing through the area

These improvements are part of the TxDOT US-59 project, aimed at enhancing traffic flow and safety in our community.
